Meeting Minutes

January 13, 2004

 

Meeting began at 7:05 pm

 

Board Members in attendance:

Lisa Wohlegemuth - President

Marsha Beatty - Treasurer                          Kathy Terstappen - Co-Treasurer

 

 

Treasurer's Report:  Marsha reported there was $3824.86 in the checking account.  The meet profit was not included in this amount as not all receipts had been turned in.  Marsha will send out e-mails to parents for their assessment balances after the Johnson popcorn monies are turned in.

 

President's Report: 

·                     Lisa read two letters from Mark King Exely and Jay Schaeffer, thanking the GPO for the $1000.00 donation to the Y Partners Program, the scholarship fund.

·                      Assessment balances are due by February 15th.

 

Brooke's Corner:

·                     Brooke will be at Pancott's on Sunday, January 25th.

·                     Woodward is week 8, July 18-24.  Applications are due to Woodward by January 31st for registration discount.  Please let Brooke know if your daughter is going.

·                     Monthly tuition fees are due by the 15th of each month.

·                     Brooke has applications for the Alpha Factor.  It is an opportunity for your daughter to model leos for catalogues.  See Brooke for an application.

·                     Brooke is sending  flowers from the Phoenixville team to the Level 9 Hatboro gymnast, she tore her ACL at the Brandywine Meet.

 

Murdina's Corner:

·                     Next fundraiser will be the Wawa Hoagie Coupon fundraiser.  Coupons will be sent home with each gymnast to sell.  The price will be $3.50 for each hoagie with a profit of $1.50 for each coupon sold.  More details will follow.

·                     The team gifts from last year are being embroidered and will be distributed soon.

·                     There will be time changes for the meets on February 1st and 21st.  Murdina wiil put out that information out as soon as it becomes available.

·                     The Mid Atlantic Regionals for Levels 8,9,10 will be Saturday June 12th at Hanover.

·                     Murdina would like all parents to address all problems/concerns directly to her or Brooke.  This will alleviate some of the "gossip" that is occuring.

·                     The team website address is:  www.geocities.com/phymcagymn/.  John Rovito has done a nice job keeping the website updated.  Check it out.
