Meeting Minutes           

December 10, 2002

 

Meeting began at 7:05pm

Ed Postell opened up the meeting addressing last minute details with the Phoenixville Meet on December 15.  Each family is to contribute $10.00 towards the purchase of the food for the meet.  Please send in cash or a check to the attention of Lisa Wohlgemuth. Setup of the meet will be done Saturday night after the Christmas party.  Also discussed was the Christmas party being hosted by the Corse Family.

 

Treasurer's Report:  There is $2790.30 in the checking account including the payment made to Johnson's Popcorn.

 

Erin's Corner -

·                      Woodward will be July 20-27, 2003, this will be week 9.  Thirty spaces will be held for the team until Feb. 15, 2003 and there will be a $50.00 discount if your daughter is registered before January 31st.

·                     Parent's Night was a success with a profit of $662.00.  A big thank-you to Lori Williams and her team for organizing this fundraiser.

·                     Nationals will be July 3-7, 2003 in Savannah, Ga.  There will be a different format this year.  Levels 7, 8, & 9 will arrive Thursday, July 3rd and compete Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Level 5 & 6 will arrive Saturday the 5th and compete on Monday, July 7th.  Opening Ceremonies will be Sunday July 6th at Fort Lee with all levels attending.  Erin has blocked 30 rooms for the meet.  More details will follow and there is a website, http://www.ymcaofcoastalga.org/gymnat

·                     A vote was taken and approval was given to purchase a low beam.

·                     Erin has put in a request for the YMCA to purchase a high beam.  She will have an answer soon.
