Give me more---Even more poems by Phyllis Willis Barbour

Poem Collection of Phyllis Willis-Barbour

Enigma

The dance of fingers
Across fields of skin

Harvest of twirls
And spins and dips

Is this what we mean
When we say love

-PWB, 1988

(Enigma is my Absolute Favorate Poem Ever by the one; the only--Phyllis Willis-Barbour!)

Euterus

euterus? in place
another flash of motherhood
euterus. in place
vague tingles of the sex act
euterus! in place
cut out my cancer

Vacation in Spain

entire time spent seething
the flight was excruciating
not to mention the dinners
all dressed up and no gaze
if you put your hand on me like
that again i could use my nail file
in a way you won't like
don't dare test me
at least not until we get home
on equal turf
