| Minor accidents do happen and a middle-age lady in my group hurt her knee bleeding badly. She keeps saying "blame it on my smoking for not being fit". What is encouraging is that there is an elderly man in his seventies and still going strong. I dare not grumble I am tired with him around. Many instances, when I was walking along the gorge, I felt that a wrong step and you will tumble down the steep slope...........and who knows which rock has a soft spot that you happen to step on. Two young ladies wore spaghetti strap tops and.....well....their backs are so red!!! got sunburnt! One couple, whose husband is cheeky and winks at me twice, actually put a towel over his lap and change into his swimming trunk! Don't ask me how he did it, ask Mr Bean. Then off he went with some others for a swim in the pool to cool off while the rest of us sit down to rest and ate our lunch. One thing is different here is that as none of us knew each other, the strong young guys does not bother to help the elderly and the ladies over difficult steps. Anyway, our guide is a lady in her late twenties. |
