I join a 19 days student tour. As I join without company, I used to room with different students each night so I get to know many of them. We covered north and south island. We miss whale watching in Kaikoura. We went white water rafting in Queenstown, helicopter ride up Mt Cook, Farm stay where the host cook a huge meal for us, overnight on Mildford Sound, hike up glaciers, laze around the light house (northern tip of North Island), climb up sand dune, went to a maze, play billiard, star gazing onboard a boat, shopping, bought food and cooked together, etc etc. It was an adventurous as well as relaxing tour. We celebrate each other's birthdays too.
From this trip, I have 2 long lasting friends that I treasure. |
