Phoenix's supernatural past is shrouded in mystery and hearsay... No two Kindred can ever seem to agree on when
Pieter Mallenhous arrived here... just that he was the first of our kind in the Valley of the Night.

There was another in our past who is unknown... Rufanogg, of Clan Gangrel, who appeared shortly after Pieter. His whereabouts are known only to a few... When he left, and why are questions that no one is willing to ask. Or at least they haven't yet.

Rufanogg's protege, known only as West, stayed on and helped defend the city during the Sabbat War. He left for a short period of time in 1997, but has since returned. It is unknown where he went in the few years he was gone.

One of the ancillae who rose to power during the Sabbat War was Dietre von Horn, now the Primogen of Clan Brujah... Unable to save his predecessor, von Horn sought
out the ductus of the pack that slew his Primogen and presented him to the Prince... or rather, presented his
head
to the Prince..

Immediately following, the Prince declared von Horn
the new Primogen of Clan Brujah.

Shortly after, von Horn also took on the position of Sheriff and enforces the Prince's Laws to this day.

Another Kindred of note is Aidan Weathersbee III, the Tremere Seneschal to Prince Mallenhous. Aidan arrived
not long after the Prince, and after fighting alongside him
and shedding blood for this city, the Prince recognized him
as someone he could not do without. It was the planning
and strategy of Aidan, Dietre, Rufanogg and the Prince that overcame the forces of both the Garou in the War of the
Wyld earlier this century, and the Sabbat in the 60's.

It was some time later that Buckwald "Bucky" Refund
and Elden Delevik came to Phoenix... One bringing chaos
in his wake, the other, restoring order.

It is rumored they were both asked to come here, but by who and to what end is a riddle as enigmatic as where Bucky got his name from. An answer known only to the Madman.

Both men have since become Primogen of their Clans,
and both are highly regarded in the city. One for his insight,
the other, for his foresight.

No other Kindred appeared in the city for quite some time...
