In the Wind in New Jersey
Welcome to New Jersey
Now go Home
This page will constantly be under construction changing and growing like the person who's creating it. It will contain some of my opinions, if you agree with them fine if not "Bite Me". No really feel free to post something  if you disagree I have a guestbook. Not in Jersey anymore I've exported myself to Tennessee
I am a BIKER. Not a motorcycle enthusiest, weekend warrior or hobbyist.

I ride because it gives me a feeling like nothing else does. You could ride with 100 people and have the brotherhood of that yet still have your solitude at the same time. There are few things that can match the feeling of the wind in your face, the warm sun on your shoulders and nothing but open highway in front of you. It's a high that no drug I've ever taken can match.

The thing that makes me laugh is those people who ride because it's some sort of status symbol now.

Ya see I was that guy the cops had pulled over on the side of the road and you thought to yourself (while sitting in your SAAB or Volvo) "look at him he must be guilty of something.". Now you want to emulate me on the weekends and go back to your SAAB or Volvo Monday morning. How pathetic are you?

Another thing if you see my bike on a trailer it's because it's fucked up beyond my mechanical capabilities and is going to the shop. (note I said shop not dealership)

I'm the guy who rides in all weather all year round. Not just 1 or 2 nice Saturdays in the spring and fall and then winterizes it for 6 months. I'm also the one who still stops for other Bikers broke down on the side of the road. (yeah there's still a few of us left)

To those of you reading this who understand what I'm saying, I say welcome brother or sister. To those of you who don't understand, odds are you never will. So find another hobby.

My daddy's got a ponytail, and he rides me on his bike

Folks 'round here don't go for us, but who cares what they like?

Dad's ponytail, it floats free, it floats back in the breeze.

It hits my face and tickles me, and sometimes make me sneeze.

Dad's tattoo is black and blue and printed 'cross his chest.

It's an eagle with some letters that spell what he likes best.

His Christian name is William, but they call him Crazy Charlie.

And it's me and him against the world when we're ridin' on his Harley.

Who care's about the citizens?

Who cares what they like?

My Dad has got a ponytail, and he rides me on his bike.

It's me and him against the world, no matter what they say.

And I'll have my own ponytail, a bike and son someday.

All I have to say on this is that it was wrong. Whether the war itself was just or not is not my judgement to make.

How we as a country treated our combat veterans when they came home , and to a lesser extent to this day was and is nothing short of horrendous. I was young but yet I still remember it, and still don't understand it.

I served proudly in the United States Marine Corps and saw the dislike the civilian population had towards us in time of peace. I can only imagine how these men and women felt coming home to a country that hated them.

The fact that we left people behind dead or alive gives me a sick feeling even as i write these words.

So please accept my Thanks if you are a veteran who served in Vietnam. It ain't much but it's meant with the utmost sincerity.

In case you haven't realized it yet, I was not,  am not and will never be POLITICALLY CORRECT. Political Correctness is for people with no spine and even less common sense.( I have instructed family and friends to slap me silly if I ever say anything politically correct) The way I see it words only hold negative connotations if you allow them to.
A few more examples of how simplistic I lead my life are as follows:

              1. Mind your own damn business.
(there's a reason you were not born with x-ray vision and the ability to read minds)

              2. Say what's on your mind, when it's on your mind.
                  (regret sucks)

              3. Do what you truly believe what is right, no matter what anyone else says.
(unless you're a lunatic then try to avoid listening to the voices in your head)

              4. Always take responsibility for your actions.
(it's nobody else's fault for the position you're in, so quit your whining)

              5. Treat people how you want to be treated.
                  (no better, no worse)

              6. Always trust your instincts.
(there's a reason you were born with them)

              7. NEVER trust someone who says they're doing something "in your best interest"
(The Government. Need I say more?)

              8. Be who you are not what others want you to be.
(to quote a great scholar of our time " I ams what I ams" - Popeye the sailor man circa 1955

              9. Be consistant.
( consistantly good or bad doesn't really matter)

Well that's all I have for now. Questions? Comments? call 1-800- bite me.
This was sent to me by a friend of over 15 years. I don't know who the original author is but, they seem to have a grasp of things.

When you are sad,....I will get you drunk and help you plot revenge against the S.O.B. who made you sad.

When you are blue,.... I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

When you smile,.... I'll know you finally got laid.

When you are scared,.... I will rag you about it every chance I get.

When you are worried,.... I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be and to quit your whining.

When you are confused,.... I will use little words to explain it to your dumb ass

When you are sick,....Stay away from me until you're well again. I don't want whatever you have.

When you fall,.... I will point and laugh at your clumbsy ass.

This is my oath,.... I pledge 'til the end. Why you ask? Because you are my friend!

P.S.    A friend will help you move. A REALLY GOOD FRIEND will help you move a body.

I am an American with a Scottish heritage. Not a Scottish - American. That kind of burns my ass when people do that. Let me put this as clearly as possible. When people seperate themselves by calling themselves "whatever-Americans" and then cry for unity it tells me your an extremely confused person who really should rethink your position.
If you are of Scottish heritage they have some really interesting stuff here.
