5.23.07 :: Europe!!!
In 7 hours and 13 minutes, I'll be taking off from Pearson International Airport heading for Heathrow in London! Exciting stuff indeed. I did some mad planning these past 2 days for our on-our-own London itinerary... I'm looking forward to it! Highlights that I hope to get to: visiting Holy Trinity Brompton, high tea at The Orangery, shopping at Camden Markets, having fish and chips with mushy peas!I wonder how life works on the other side of the world? I wonder what new aspects of God and His creation I'll discover? Praise Him for the ability to travel and see the world.

5.21.07 :: I should be in bed
But I'm not. I guess I'm still in retreat-mode, sleeping late and getting up early! I've uploaded 13 of the 272 photos I took over the weekend. We had absolutely gorgeous weather for a long weekend at the cottage (first time I've ever done that in my life!). Thanks to Deacon David for lending us his place for this retreat! It was awesome enjoying utter silence on the deck on the first day, and I had lots of fun romping with the rest of the kiddies on the deck on the second day under the bright summer sun. And stuffing our faces with food on the third was memorable. It was good to be able to draw close to God, even if it was rather brief. And it was even better sharing life with everyone. An expectation fulfilled.I'm off to Europe in 2 days! Not sure if I'll get the chance to update here before then. I hope to be able to get to an internet caf to do at least one update, though. We'll see. Still have to plot and plan a little more before we're ready to head off. I hope it all gets done!
Before I go, might I wish an early CONGRATS to Benson and Vince for their baptism on this coming Pentecost Sunday!!! I'm so sad I won't be there. :o( But do celebrate for me!

5.15.07 :: I can't believe it!
It still baffles me that between now and my Eurotrip (8 days!), I'm going off to a retreat. Mind you, I'm very much looking forward to the chance of having a real retreat by a lake at a cottage. But it's in 2 days! Not even! Crazy! I'll have to deal with luggage restrictions and such when I come back. Or tonight. We'll see.In the mean time, rush over to Puretracks and download the Free Track of the Week - "Your Ex-Lover Is Dead (Final Fantasy Remix)" by Stars. I'm not sure what the original sounds like, but in the hands of Final Fantasy, it's turned into a gorgeous, delicate waltz. Makes me want to buy He Poos Clouds right now. Ahh, Canadian music. I wish it was more popular.

5.14.07 :: A Collective History
Since it's spring and the season of much change in my life, I thought I'd throw in a bonus package by revamping my website. Well, I've actually been working on the new layout since last year, and had schemed to make it live right about now. Time to lay the fifth chapter to rest, and begin something new.Needless to say, expect more retooling in the coming days. I was just antsy to put this up before I left for Europe (in 9 days! hilfe me!). Anyway, I don't even know if I like the setup of the site, so we'll see how much of it stays permanent. But thus is life: It's a dynamic process. Furthermore, here's my second attempt to drop xanga again as a blog, but of course, I will comment and upload videos as needed. Good luck to me!
Leave me comments below! Tell me if you find any kinks. Thank you and good night!
