MEMORANDUM FOR: JROTC CADETS

SUBJECT: Welcome Letter

1. It is with great pleasure that we extend each of you a warm welcome into our JROTCProgram. We are certainly looking forward to renewing our association with you "old-timers" and beginning, hopefully, a lasting relationship with those of those of you joining us as new cadets.

2. Our program at Pineville High School is affiliated with the United States Army.It has been built on a tadtion of being one of the best programs in the State of Louisana and the Second ROTC Region. As such, each of you is a vital member of our team and we expect you to conduct yourself so as to represent us in the most favorable light.

3. As a member of this program there are many questions wjich you may have . This booklet is designed to assist you in answering those questions most frequently asked and, to provide you with information you will need in order to sucessful in the program. In the military this book would be called an S.O.P (Standard Operating Procedure). Please take the time to read it carefully.

4. Please feel free to come to us with questions and problems which cannot be resolved by your student chain of command. Also, we are available if you just need to "talk".

5. Agian, welcome to the Program and we encourage you to do your best.
