murder for food
The movie Hannibal has a lot of intrigue in it. The movie is a sequel to the infamous "Silence Of The Lambs." The main character Hannibal is a cannibal therefore he enjoys eating human flesh. The issue of cannibalism be it in the movie or life is very controversial, but why? Humans themselves have killed animals to eat isn�t that cannibalism? We are all still animals in the animal kingdom, just because we view ourselves as a higher species it gives us a right to kill every animal we deem lower than us? But in the human world we are the ultimate race and everything else is just food right? How selfish can the human race be when they justify a killing of a cow for food but not that of a human. Most humans will argue that human life is more valuable than those of animals but I ask in what way? What kind of egotistical being has the ignorant mind frame to even begin to fathom this? The answer is of course is right in front of us and that is the human race; the only race that kills animals for food and for trophy mantels. I myself don�t condone murders of any kind but when someone kills an animal for food it�s still murder, yet it�s justified? I think it�s a ridiculous justification because that means that humans only think of themselves as superior to all, I even think some believe that they are so called "gods". But it isn�t a matter of what humans think of themselves but of what they shun. Human beings have ridiculed their own by calling those people whom have eaten human flesh as immoral, crazy and beasts. How is eating human flesh immoral? It�s a source of food so why ridicule something that can save lives? I myself wouldn�t eat human flesh nor do I really care for any animal flesh either but because of societies hypocritical views Hannibal is sought out by the police because he enjoyed eating human flesh. If I had my way I would abolish all animal eating but that could only happen in a utopian society. I believe every life is sacred but if eating an animal is legal why shouldn�t we be able to kill the animal who pollutes the earth with it�s ignorance? Humans are like every other animal in the kingdom, they are struggling to survive in this world by all means possible. Maybe one day that will mean something and the Hannibals of the world won�t be prosecuted for doing something that only comes natural, survival.
