Day 1:
Its Friday night and we're on the train to Sheffield, an hour away.
We depart the train and hop on a bus to Barnsley.
With some help from a nice lady we get off at the Wagons & Horses
Pub...the wrong one. The correct pub is 10 miles away.
While eveyone else debates wether to walk or hitch,
Matt throws caution to the wind and grins for the camera.
Two more bus rides later we're dropped off at the hostile, after
the driver goes out of his way to help us.
Dan Matt Adam Cari Phil Becki
Jack Louise Olu & Josh
The ball refuses to stay on dry land during a game of football.
Dan skillfully extracts it from the river while the crowd oohs and
aahs
Adams got issues with the ball and threatens to drown it
He's also got issues
with the gate and threatens to eat it
The lack of souvenier shops does not deter me
from taking something home- this rock will do nicely.
Back at the
hostile the guys whip up some dinner,
and Saturday ends with
worship and a campfire. Mmmm marshmallows
Our bags seem
to have gotten minds of their own, as we have to chase them down a hill.
Matt smartly left his bag at the top,
but didn't want to be left out of the rolling festivities.
The girls enjoy the sunshine
Louise, Corrine, Bex, Cari
While the guys demonstrate their manhood by climbing trees with guitars
.
Phil, Adam, Josh
And Joel resuces them when they get stuck
It was a fun
but tiring
weekend. The End.
