Religion,
What Is There To Believe In?
Religion... the belief in something greater...

I don't believe in a god.  I'm rather neutral on the subject.  Growing up, I was forced to attend my parents church.  At the time, they were both active Mormons.  Now... my mom doesn't go as often... she claims its due to her health... personally, I think it's her lack of wanting to do anything at all.

People look for excuses.

Me, I'm more upfront.  I've been rebelling against it for years... and after the whole point in time when my parents were making me go to a psychiatrist... I wasn't forced anymore.  I believe my psychiatrist told them that our relationship as a family was hurt from all of it and if they gave me the choice... instead of the demand, things between us would get better.  And they have.

It's not a matter of believing or not... and I don't worship other things.  If I were to be categorized as any one type of belief, it would be agnostic.  I won't say there is and I won't say there isn't... give me proof that there is something to believe in and I'll believe.  It's all that simple.

I usually don't talk about religion... and I usually don't ask people about their religion.  I don't bring the matter up, it's only when asked that I speak upon the matter.

And it does bother me when people try to inforce belief in me.  Don't try converting me... there's nothing to convert if I don't believe in something already.  Don't try prooving your religion and belief that there is a god... when all you have are comparisons between like and unlike things, they have nothing to do with belief.

People that try prooving that there is a god have always failed with me.
And I seriously doubt that will ever change.

However, I do believe that people are here for a purpose.
Which would make me pro-life.  Every life, be it already conceived or not, has a meaning.  The only time I would ever uphold the idea of abortion, would be in cases of rape or threats of death to the mothers life.  And even then, I believe there are ways around killing an unborn life.  And every time the argument arises... I always have to ask the same question... "Would you kill that child if you knew that they possessed the cure to cancer or aids in that developing brain?"

You can't fight that question.

So I guess... I do have a "religion"...

I believe in life.
