FAQ

(Frequently Asked Questions)

First, what is F.A.Q.?

FAQ is frequently asked questins. These are questions that frequently come up in the course of conversation with prospective models. There are many but these are some of the  most frequent ones.

What is T.F.P ?

TFP is Time For Prints.  This means that the model is conpensated by receiving prints of the photo cession for her own portfolio or personal use. This is my prefered way to work with models. The numbers and sizes of the prints depends on the cession and is usualy agreed to before the cession takes place. Also, because we are now living in the digital age I also offer CD disks containing photos from your cession.

Do you do hair and make up?

Sorry, I do not. In this state (as I understand it) it is not legal to do so unless you are a licensed cosmotoligist. I can offer tips based on experiance and suggest changes but the model has to arrange for her own make up and hair stylist.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. A husband or S.O. or a lady friend are welcome to come with you if you would be more comfortable with that. I will say that sometimes having another person there with you can make you more nervous than being there alone. Also, frequently if a model visits our studio more than once, and I hope that you do, she will come alone on the second visit. This is because she feels more comfortable on the second visit.

What do I bring with me?

That would largely depend on the photo cession that we would be doing. Any costuming obviously that would be required would be the first consideration. Some of those items would include items of lingerie, bathing suits and shorts and tops. We have a few items here but because of the variations in sizes of models we can not supply a full line of costuming. We do have such items as feather boas which are very popular and costume jewelry. You would also want to bring your makeup and hair supplies. Also, wigs are a lot of fun to work with.

Do I have to pose nude?

This is frequently the first question that I get. The answer is no, not if you are not comfortable with doing  so. Most of the models who have posed nude for photographs did so at the second or third cession after they were comfortable with me and the studio. Many models choose not to do them at all.  That is your choice and no one will force you to pose this way. I would suggest that you check out the few nude photos that I have posted on these pages and you will see some of my creations.

I will be adding more to this page as questions arise. If you have other questions please feel free to e-mail me.

My only goal here is to create beautiful photographs and make it fun for both model and photographer.
