Smoke shrouds the arrowhead landmark near the Arrowhead Springs Hotel
Street numbers melted on the brick wall of one of the first homes to burn. The chimney stands in the background. This was the 1st photo I took at the fire.
The smoke was so thick firefighters parked a few feet away couldnt see the eaves of this home ablaze.
They were told about it and extinguished the fire, saving the house for awhile. Three hours later I came
back and it was fully engulfed. If the residents had not evacuated they could have saved it. It was the last home on the block to be destroyed.
