| A razz to the CHP officer that told me to go "wait by my car" parked way down the freeway after I shot the scene in picture 2. Someone obviously has no clue about photojournalism or the rights of the press! I'm not sure how I could tell a story visually standing next to my car a hundred feet away, I know I wouldnt feel very free as a journalist being CONFINED to that spot. Happily the Sgt. on scene was more aware and helpful, they left me alone and I helped them...by retrieving an officers dropped PR-24 baton and taking the victims money and drivers license to the ambulance from an officer on the other side of the freeway barrier where I was standing so I wouldnt be "in the way"........ your welcome! |
