| In the fall of 2000, I had the privledge of spending a semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. Denmark is one of the only countries, that I have visited so far, where I could actually imagine myself taking up a home. I admire the countries' values, politics and general way of life. The two things that deter me from making the move however are the weather and the language. While over there, I also had the unique opportunity to visit Germany, Norway, Russia, Estonia, and Sweden. My advice is to take the time to visit Tallin, Estonia; Flan, Norway; and Bornholm, Denmark. Although the three see their share of tourists, in comparison to some of other cities in Europe, these places are hidden treasures. |
