| ---- Scholastic Art and Writing Awards I entered this contest as a Senior and submitted a portfolio of eight works. I titled this piece "A Sorrowful Dream" and can be viewed by clicking here. I recieved letter that I had won an award, so I went to the ceremony on February 16th where I recieved a Silver Key Award Certificate as well as a Silver Key Award pin. |
| ---- Alabama National Fair Photography Competition 2006 I entered this competition just about two months ago. I was able to enter four photos, all of them being in the Amateur Unclassified division. I won first place and two honorable mentions. The other photo didn't win anything, but got a good score which allowed it to be in the exhibit. I already have my photos back, but the ribbons and plaque are being shipped to me....definitely unexpected. |
| ---- Alabama National Fair Photography Competition 2007 I entered the competition again, though not quite as successful as last time becuase I had some issues with my pictures. I did, however, win one second place. The other three did not place, but were still in the exhibit. I'm just waiting for the ribbon. |
