About Me
Home
For those of you who don't know me, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Stacey Wiseman and I am currently a student at Central Lakes College in Staples Minnesota. I have one year left to complete my Photgraphic Technologies A.A.S. and I will also be starting on Communication Art and Design this fall.

I was born and raised on a farm in rural North Dakota where my graduating class was 33. I got most of my photography experience through my parents and school. My mom is an artist, she is incredible with painting. Watching her and studying her paintings helped me to see the world around me on canvas. I learned a lot about colors and compliments. My dad, a high school teacher, actually taught photography but the program was ended before I had the Chance to

take it. Using a 30-year-old Vivitar camera, he taught me the basics of photography and gave me a good base to jump from. I took one of Dad's classes my senior year, Communications Tech. We studied TV and produced our own live news broadcast to the local cable channel. Because of what I was learning, I soon started watching TV from the camera's point of view.. instead of drifting off into LaLa Land with my eyes on the screen.

My biggest goal when I complete college is to publish a book with my photos in it. I'm working on a few ideas right now, but the progress is slow. School keeps me pretty busy for the time being.

I hope others get the same joy out of my photos that I get when I take them. We use photos to remember events that we may have forgotten. It's a great feeling knowing that you can have such a huge impact on one person's life... just with push of a button.
