| Taking to the stage that night in a black and silver tassled dress with matching boots, Dolly belted out an array of her biggest hits including, Here You Come Again, Jolene, 9 TO 5, Baby I'm Burnin' and many more. She was given a white lace glove by a young girl in the audience and the glove is visible in a couple of the shots. Dolly commented as to how she would wear the gloves with such long nails. But she went on to put the gloves on and wear them during the remainder of her solo segment of the concert.(the gloves actually had no tips to allow her nails to go through!) This was not a solo concert by Dolly. She was actually on a nationwide tour with Kenny Rogers but the photo's of her with a change of outfit, which was a red-split to the thigh gown and the ones with her and Kenny on stage together are not available. (ie: I do not have them scanned). Together, Dolly and Kenny sang hits such as, Islands In The Stream, Real Love and We've Got Tonight! |
