Konica T4, Hexanon AR 40mm f1.8
Polaroid High Definition 200
I cropped this slightly from a full frame since
I think it looks better tightly cropped.
This composition works for me but I still think it lacks a little
due to the kind of dull overall coloring.
So.....
I desaturated in photoshop and added very little contrast (+5) till I liked how it looked and ended up with:

I like this much better except that the wooden post, the left metal post and the door are still a little too overexposed for me and I thing they would benefit from being burned in a little. Ideally it would be better to shoot when the sun is pointing from right to left to highlight the mailbox instead of the post. Comments or critiques always welcomed.
Why this mailbox?
I've passed this place, an abandoned tractor sales company, many
times and was out one day with my camera and decided to stop
because turkey buzzards were perched all over the roofs of the
buildings. Unfortunatley they all flew away as soon as I parked
and got out of my van. So I took some shots around the place and
got a few interesting images. I plan on stopping back again
sometime and shooting a few rolls. Hope I don't get arrested for
trespassing.
