This is one of my favorites. The yellow shirts add a little color to the photo and helps to draw you in. Seeing only the back of their head or side of their faces helps show their undivided attention to the task at hand. Had they looked into the camera or smiled at me or waved would have taken a lot away from this photo.
I took this in 1982 while walking along the East River Drive in Philadelphia. Nothing like a quiet afternoon fishing. I wonder if the old steps are still there.
