I recently graduated from New Mexico Tech with a degree in General Studies, and I will be going back this fall to finish my Chemical Engineering degree. I am currently working at a store owned by a family friend . After I get out of school again I am hoping to start my career. I have also started selling my crafts, which include toiletries, and may one day include stained glass and sewn projects.
So now you know a little about me. Here is the fun stuff, my pets.
This is my
parakeet. Her name is Honey. I've had her since Christmas 2000, when
she was given to me by Luke (my ex-boyfriend). She is an absolute
sweetie, but a
homebody. She would prefer to stay in her cage than come out and be
social. Even when she does come out it is only for a few minutes and
then she goes home again.
This is my pet
cockatiel. His name is Teioh (Pronounced Tee-oh). I've had him much
shorter than Honey. Luke gave him to me for Christmas 2003. Teioh is an
attention slut. He loves to be around his family and will make an
absolute racket if he knows that we are home and aren't spending every
free second with him. He really only seems to be quiet when he is
sleeping, eating, or spending time on the shoulder of one of his
people.
This is my newest
bird. His name is tigger. He is an absolute sweetie, but a crybaby. He
will cry at me until I can't stand it anymore. I never know what he
want's, and the normal doesn't seem to be it. More as I learn more
about him.
