When in Hogwarts...
                                                                tips on RPing
1. Don't make them sound like a teeny-bopper stuck in the Harry Potter world. Girls don't go around dressed in halters and miniskirts...Even if it isn't class time. They usually wear their uniforms on weekends and when there aren't classes going on, even if they don't have their robes on.

2. Don't do short, one line posts. It's especially annoying when you do short posts one after annother, with no one elses posts in between. If you don't know how to make your post a bit longer, try adding a little more emotion into it...a little more detail...ect.

3. Seperate your Posts in the RPG from those outside of it (out of character) somehow. You can either use BIC (for back in character) with OOC (for out of character) or some other method like putting your messages that aren't in character with brackets.

4. Make sure your speech is seperate from your actions. You can either do it this way:
Dumbledore hurried down the hall, after hearing a loud scream. He turned around the hall, and there was a small Hufflepuff first year, frantically trying to brush a spider off of her robes. "It's more afraid of you, then you are of it..." he said pleasantly, his eyes twinkling. Or you can try it this way: **Dumbledore hurried down the hall, after hearing a loud scream. He turned around the hall, and there was a small Hufflepuff first year, frantically trying to brush a spider off of her robes.** It's more afraid of you, then you are of it... **he said pleasantly, his eyes twinkling.**

5. Don't Godmodel. Everyone has a weakness, even your character. Besides, those that Godmodel end up not being liked very much.
