For those of you who watch 4kids Tv, they play a "next episode" clip after each episode of Sonic X. I personally prefer these over the Japanese ones, as they are actually videos and not just pictures. Also, on occasion, 4kids will redub a line to suit a preview. For example, for the "Cracking Knuckles" preview, the narrator says "and things could get ugly!". Then you see a clip of Knuckles redubbed with him saying "Hey!Who are you calling ugly?!" and punching the screen. I plan to catalogue the previews for every episode. Not only that, I'll also be rating them on a 1-5 scale (5 being the best). NOTE: I'm only starting from Episode 17 and up (my Tivo wasn't working for the 1st 16 episodes; if someone could give me the Next-episode scripts for those I would really appreciate it, and they would get credited under "with help from" after me). We were originally going to use pictures from the internet, but we decided against it as it was more practical to use our own. The preview is shown in a comic form for convenience. I try to put up the text weekly.

Update: I have previews for 21, 22, 23, and 24 completely done, and am working on previews for 25 and 26. I'm still looking for a place to upload them, because sooner or later, I'll run out of space here.

The Adventures of Knuckles and Hawk
*different narrator than usual, this one sounds slightly darker* On the next Sonic X...Episode 17
I liked the change in narrator. It's a real improvement. But what's with the "will change Knuckles' fate forever" part?! How did it change Knuckles' fate? Still, there were no bad puns, which definetly counts for something, all the clips were from this episode (sometimes they aren't), and all the clips were relevant. 4/5

The Dam Scam

The only thing that ruined this was mediocre clips with no-so-great voice acting. The narration was actually pretty good. 3.5/5

Sonic's Scream Test
On the next Sonic X..."Linsdey's ghost reflection: Well, hello there!" "Lindsey: *screams*" "Sonic *picks up a statue*: I wonder what this thing is for?" "Amy: Remember Chris, ghosts love it if you're scared, so stay calm" "Chris *ghosts form into a larger ghost* What's happening, Amy?" "Amy: All the sudden we were attacked by ghosts!" "Sonic: I don't believe in ghosts!" "Chris: Whoa, what is that?" "Sonic: Maybe there is such a thing as ghosts after all!" "Chris+Amy: *yell* Sonic!" Sonic X-next week!
There was virtually no narration this time, it was all clips. I don't really care whether the narrator is there or not, but this episode preview works a lot better without narration. The only thing I don't like is that the clips are presented in a confusing order. They should've been placed like: 1. Sonic finds the statue 2:Amy says "All the sudden we were attacked by ghosts!" 3:Sonic says "I don't believe in ghosts!" 4:Lindsey's ghost reflection appears 5:Sonic says "Maybe there is such a thing as ghosts!" 6:Chris and Amy yell "Sonic!" 7.Amy says "Remember Chris, ghosts love it if you're scared, so stay calm." 8: Chris says "What's happening, Amy?" Either way, I'd give it a 4 anyways.Episode 19

Episode 20: Cruise Blues:
*Sonic leaps out of the river and runs across the water* "Sonic: Hey, Knuckles! Looking for me?" *Knuckles has a fish flung into his arms* "Knuckles: What the?" *Sonic leaps between buldings with a triangle dash of sorts* *brief face shot* "Sonic : Hey, Eggman! I'm over here!" "Eggman: I'm going to get you, Sonic!" *shakes his fist from the Eggmobile* *Sonic races by two people, a woman has to hold her skirt down* "Narrator (they now use the original one): He's fast *Sonic races speeds by a newstand, the newspapers and magazines fly out (oddly enough, 4Kids left the text on them and the Newsstand sign)* and he's only on 4kids TV! *Sonic faces out as he runs down a road* "Sonic: Catch me if you can!" Narrator: Don't miss Sonic X, next week! "Sonic *standing still* But don't blink, 'cause you mught miss me! *runs off*
This epsiode had a very odd preview. None of the clips are actually from the next episode; in fact, 75% of them are from "How to Catch a Hedgehog". This might as well have been an advertisement for Sonic X rather than a preview. The newstand had all its text, which surprised me a little. I'm actually kind of disappointed that they changed back to the old narrator. 1.5/5Episode 20

Episode 21: Fast Friends

This was a HUGE step-up from last week's travesty. The voice acting clips were good, and the narration was excellent (I'm so glad they brought back narrator 2) I also liked how 4kids added in little clips of their own, such as the "World's Fastest". The echo effect on the "World's Fastest" only added to the coolness. 5/5

Episode 22: Little Chaos Lost
On the next Sonic X... "Frances: Cheese!" "Cheese: Chao!" "Cream:*gasps*" When Chris and the gang go on a dangerous rescue mission "Chris: It can't be!" They discover a secret mountain paradise...secret that is, until Dr. Eggman finds out! "Eggman: Heh heh heh!" Will Eggman and his robots lay everything to waste? "Eggman: Let it fly!" Or can Sonic stop the destruction? Find out on the next Sonic X, next week!
This preview was pretty good. Good clips, fairly good voice acting, but nothing else was really added. It was just clips from the show, pretty much like most the previews.4/5

Episode 23: Emerald Anniversary
On the next Sonic X..."Knuckles: There's a Chaos Emerald somewhere around here!" That's no ordinary Emerald "Sonic: What's going on?!" It's Chaos Emerald nuber 6, a source of unlimited power "Knuckles: I found it!" and it's attracting a lot of attention "EggmanL Let's go!" "Eggman+Decoe+Bocoe: Hand over that Chaos Emerald!" Who will take a hold of this powerful gem? Find out on the next Sonic X...next week! "Rouge: Hand it back, Eggman!" "Eggman: No way! It's mine now!"
I like how they put dialogue after the "Find out on Sonic X...next week!" bit. It was a pleasant surprise. That arguement between Eggman and Rouge was very well-placed and sums up the theme of the next episode. 4.5/5

Episode 24: How to Catch a Hedgehog
On the next Sonic X..."Sonic: Aaah!" "*continues screaming as he runs off*" He's unstoppable *slight echo*...literally! "Sonic: I can't stop my feet!" "Amy: We just have to figure out what's wrong with him!" "Chuck: But first we have to catch him!" "Sonic: What's goin' on?!" *'A Need for Speed appears'* "Chuck: Fire!" *'A Rush of Adrenaline' appears* "Tails: Look out!" *'A Crash course to Disaster' appears* "Sonic: I can't stop!" "Sam: I got you now!" Get ready *Sonic, Knuckles and Amy pictures flash by quickly* It's rush hour on Sonic X...next week! *Sonic faceshot and Sonic runnung pictures flash even quicker*
4kids did a fantastic job with this preview! Great dialogue, great clips, great add-in, great voice acting. This was as close to perfect as I think is possible! 5/5

Episode 25: A Dastardly Deed
On the next Sonic X...*'The Final Emerald' appears* "Eggman: We have them all, don't we?" *'An Unlikely Truce' appears* "Knuckles: This is the only chance we've got!" *'A Shocking Twist' appears* "Chris: What do you think you're doing, Eggman?!" "Topaz: Come in! Emergency!" *'Now' appears* *Eggman smiles, Knuckles gets knocked to the ground* *'The Time Has Come' appears* *Sonic runs off* *'For their fate' appears* *Eggman smiles without the Emerald "He he he.: *'To Be Determined' appears* *Chris: Sonic!* You can't afford to miss this critical episode of Sonic X...next week!
I take back what I said last week. This was even better than last week's preview! I can only imagine what's in store for Episode 26's preview! 5/5

Episode 26: Countdown to Chaos
On the next Sonic X..."Eggman: The 7th Chaos Emerald [is waiting for me!]* *text "The Search Has Ended" appears after brackets* "Soldier: We can't waste time,[ open fire!]"The Mission Accomplished" goes after brackets* "Eggman: The Chaos [Emerald is mine!]" *"Evil Has Triumphed" appears after the brackets* "Chris: Noooooo!" Don't miss this shocking episode of Sonic X...next week! (weirdly, they use the clip-boxes from Chaotic)
This was an excellent preview, aside from the Chaotic thing at the end and the fact it was a little too short. Still, there's not a lot they could show without major spoilers, so it's justified. 4.5/5

Episode 27: Pure Chaos
A new creature is on a rampage. "Sonic: Chaos!" Now it's up to Sonic to clean up this mess! "Eggman: That's right, trash everything!" Catch another episode of Sonic X, next Saturday morning!
I was a little disappointed that this one was short as well. I suppose there wasn't too much to tell, but they could've put in a little more about Chaos...or maybe they're saving that for a later preview...3.5/5

Episode 28: A Chaotic Day
*Sonic rolls by past an exploding tower* On the next Sonic X...Eggman's on the loose. "Eggman:My scheme worked like a charm!" And Sonic is thrown into the face of danger! "Sonic: We'll get those Emeralds back!" "Eggman: Prepare to fire Eggman Cannon! I want them knocked out of the sky!" Catch Sonic X next Saturday morning, only on 4kids TV!
The only thing I didn't like about this review was the fact it only centered on Sonic, Tails, and Eggman. What about Knuckles and Amy? Maybe they'll be mentioned in next week's preview. Wow, a lot of stuff is building up to be shown in future previews. Other than that, it was pretty good. Also, the clip at he very beginning had NOTHING to do with this episode and is actually from Beating Eggman: Part Two. 3/5

Episode 29: A Robot Rebels
On the next Sonic X... "Sonic: Holy cow!" Sonic and Knuckles try to free Chris from the clutches of Chaos. "Knuckles: Shovel Claw!" while Tails has to go it alone to defuse a bomb. "Tails: Here goes!" Sonic X...next Saturday morning!
Not bad. Not bad at all. Still, they left a TON of things out. What about Amy? Gamma? Big (well, I guess he doesn't really do anything important)? Still, at least they mentioned Knuckles, though they never said anything about the Master Emerald or his reason for being on the Egg Carrier. 3/5

Episode 30: N/A Can you believe it? No preview! Nothing! Nada! The only thing playing was an ad for an hour-long block of Dinosaur King. How dare they! And to think that's a stupid show, anyways! With the SA2 arc coming up in a couple of weeks, let's hope this doesn't become a habit. 0/0
