| Gwyneth grew up under the shadow of her older cousin, the Zoran sage and princess Ruto. Gwen spent most of her time in the royal library, and through books taught herself to paint, play various instruments, and use magic. Of all her many talents, however, her greatest love was singing. When she was eighteen, Gwen saw and fell in love (at first sight) with a Hylian man named Saul. Convinced that he could never return her affections while she was in her Zora form, Gwen learned a spell that morphed her into a young Hylian woman. However, an unfortunate side effect of the spell was that Gwen could no longer enter the water without a large amount of pain, which kept her out of Zora's Domain and away from her family. After finding out that Saul was married, Gwen began traveling the realm, completely alone. She was in Shaldani at the time of the Ebene attacks and saw Tranns rescue villagers. Gwen joined up with the Phoenix Fighters, determined to use her life to help people. Gwyneth spends most of her time in her Hylian form, which makes her look much younger than she is.
