| Aeq was born in Catalan and grew up raised by only his mother, never meeting his father. He has long since forgotten the name his mother gave him, so he simply goes by "Aeq". Aeq frequently practiced what he called "Wave Skills" which were in actuality just water magic. His mother disapproved of this however so he was forced to do this hidden and without her knowledge. He received a very good education and liked to spend the majority of his time by himself near the sea. The day after his 27th birthday, while sitting by the ocean, a man came up to him and gave him a quiver with ten arrows inside it, the man told him the quiver would never run out of arrows before quickly disappearing beneath the waves. Aeq examined the quiver to find a strange inscription on the side. Upon reading it one of the arrows vanished, but that was not the only peculiar thing that happened. When Aeq went back to town, no one acknowledged his presence and he no longer felt the need to eat or sleep. Aeq had become trapped outside of time itself. Many years later the same man who gave Aeq the quiver appeared and instructed him on how to escape. Aeq did so immediately, causing a second arrow to disappear from the quiver leaving only 8 instead of the original 10. Now suddenly burdened with the need for food and rest, Aeq began to wander without nourishing or taking proper care of himself. He was discovered by Sic, weak and hungry, and so she brought him back to the Phoenix House. He has a very bad sense of time and constantly is confused on such matters, though he is getting better. Though he has escaped his timeless prison, the mysterious quiver still provides an endless amount of arrows. | |||||||||||||||||||||
