The Wizarding World Club (TMSH)

Please only answer questions for the classes you have been taking. For example, if you did not take Muggle Studies, please leave that portion blank. Each class has one question, and the answer is to be in a story or RP format based on how your character would react. Answers do not have to be insanely long; however, you should put time and thought into them.

Start writing from the point you�ve entered the classroom. Write how your character is feeling throughout the test what actions they might be taking. If they are nervous are they biting fingernails or scratching a lot of words out? If you have any actual knowledge of the subject you can throw in tidbits for realism, such as writing your own question and answering it. If you don�t know much about the actual subject you can leave out such specifics and just write about your characters emotions, how they think they did, if they thought they did better on certain questions than others etc. When you come to the practical portion just be creative, it�s ok if you�re not completely accurate based on the books, you are being judged on your writing and creativity, not subject accuracy.

This will be graded on the same grading scale as OWLs and NEWTs. The marks, therefore, range from Outstanding to Terrible. Like said above, writing and creativity are the main factors. However, length and subject accuracy will might make the difference between a Acceptable and Poor. Good luck!

Character's Name

Ancient Runes
You arrive for your test and notice each desk has a bag of runes atop it, along with a test paper and quill. The examiner tells everyone to take a seat and empty their rune bags, and begin. The test has various questions regarding names and meanings of each rune. Once the written portion is complete it�s time for the practical. The examiner comes over to you and tells you to do a casting (pick up a random rune) and then tell them what it means.

Arithmancy
You arrive for your test and take a seat. The test paper is face down, and a quill is sitting on top. The examiner signals you to begin. The test is filled with questions about the meanings behind various numbers, character numbers, heart numbers, and social numbers. When the test is over you are relieved because there is no practical portion.

Astronomy
You arrive for your test and take a seat. You wait for the examiners signal and then begin. The test is filled with basic questions on various planets, stars, and constellations. After the test you are told you have the rest of the day free, and that it would be a good idea to take a nap because the practical exam is at midnight. It�s now midnight and you�ve just arrived atop the north tower for the practical exam. You are handed a star chart and pointed towards a telescope, once everyone has sat down at their telescopes you are told to begin.

Care of Magical Creatures
You arrive for your test and take a seat. You wait for the examiners signal and then begin. The test is filled with basic questions on various magical creatures. Once the written portion is done, the students are called one by one into another room. When it is your turn you arrive and are told to identify various magical creatures by name, and given choices on what to feed each one.

Charms
You arrive for your test and take a seat. You wait for the examiners signal and then begin. The test is filled with basic questions on various charm spells, how they are cast, what they do, and what specific wand movements are required. Once the written portion is done, the students are called one by one into another room. When it is your turn you arrive and are told to demonstrate various charms.

Defense Against the Dark Arts
You arrive for your test and take a seat. You wait for the examiners signal and then begin. The test is filled with basic questions on dark items, curses, counter-curses, and dark creatures. Once the written portion is done, the students are called one by one into another room. When it is your turn you arrive and are told to demonstrate various counter-curses.

Divination
You arrive for your test and take a seat. You wait for the examiners signal and then begin. The test is filled with basic questions on reading tea leaves, palms, determining signs, and crystal gazing. Once the written portion is done, the students are called one by one into another room. When it is your turn you arrive and are told to make a prediction for your examiner using a combination of tea leaves, palmistry, and crystal gazing.

Herbology
You arrive for your test and take a seat. You wait for the examiners signal and then begin. The test is filled with basic questions on various plants, and what they do or are used for. Once the written portion is done, the students are called one by one into another room. When it is your turn you arrive and are told to identify various plants.

History of Magic
You arrive for your test and take a seat. You wait for the examiners signal and then begin. The test is filled with basic questions on events in history. When the test is over, you are very thankful that there is no practical portion.

Muggle Studies
You arrive for your test and take a seat. You wait for the examiners signal and then begin. The test is filled with basic questions on muggles, what they wear, what fascinates them, how things like electricity work and so on. Once the written portion is done, the students are called one by one into another room. When it is your turn you arrive and are told to identify various muggle items.

Potions
You arrive for your test and take a seat. You wait for the examiners signal and then begin. The test is filled with basic questions on various potions, what they are used for, and their ingredients. Once the written portion is over, you are directed to the dungeons to begin the practical exam. You are given the directions for 3 potions, along with all the necessary ingredients and cauldrons.

Transfiguration
You arrive for your test and take a seat. You wait for the examiners signal and then begin. The test is filled with basic questions on transfiguration spells, how they are performed and what they should be performed on. Once the written portion is done, the students are called one by one into another room. When it is your turn you arrive and are told to transfigure a mouse into a jewelry box, a frog into a pincushion, and an iguana into a goblet.

Congratulations on the completion of your OWLs. You should recieve your results within one week...
