Character Description Describe the general appearance and personality of your character. Consider issues like clothing, hobbies, and how dedicated they are to good class marks.
Character Biography Describe the past eleven years of your character's life. This would include family, as well as any significant events that have happened from birth to the point at which they received their Hogwarts letter.
Sample Roleplay 1 (Introduction) Your character has just received their Hogwarts letter; what is their reaction? Be sure to keep in mind whether members of your character's family are Muggles or Wizards.
Sample Roleplay 2 (Preparation) Your character has arrived at Diagon Alley to purchase their school things; what is their reaction when they get there, and where do they choose to go first?
Sample Roleplay 3 (Beginning) Your character has made it on to Platform 9 and 3/4; are they early or barely on time? How did they get onto the platform (if they're from a Wizarding family I�m sure it was no problem, but if they come from a Muggle family describe how they figured it out)? What is their reaction to the Hogwarts Express?
Sample Roleplay 4 (Journey) You�re on the train and the trolley comes by with all of those lovely sweets, what do you do? Have you made any new friends yet on the train ride?
Sample Roleplay 5 (Arrival) Your character has arrived and now it�s time to take the boat trip up to the castle. What is their reaction to the magical boats?
Sample Roleplay 6 (Waiting) Your character is at the castle waiting to be taken into the Great Hall for sorting. How are they feeling? Are they talking with others, or keeping to themselves?
Sample Roleplay 7 (Sorting) Your character's name is called and they take a seat. The sorting hat is place on their head. What is going through their mind as they sit under the sorting hat? For example, Harry kept thinking not Slytherin, and Draco might have been thinking definitely Slytherin. DO NOT end your post with what the hat calls out. If you want to be sure your chracter is in a specific house, just have your character think it.
