| 1971 Ford Torino 500 This was a V-8 that my Dad bought in California in the 70's. When the family moved to Michigan in the early l980's and this car was shipped by rail, I had already seen The Road Warrior too many times and this became my own V-8 Interceptor on the backwoods dirt roads of Ann Arbor. We drove this car to Arizona, and my Dad later drove it to California where it became mine at last. Hit by an idiot who was driving through a red light that he didn't even see. |
| 1970 Ford LTD Got this about a week after the Torino was hit, buying it from a nice old guy who lived in my apartment complex and couldn't drive it any more. After less than a year, the starboard side headlight cover failed, the power seat quit working, and the driver's side window kept falling off its mounting inside the door, finally shattering inside the door body.
