Mike Knapp has enjoyed a long and very varied career in theatre.

Educated at The Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama, he has played a wide range of roles from Edgar in King Lear to Chief Weasel in The Wind in the Willows. He became involved with Phoenix as a cast member, playing Banquo in Macbeth and Louis in A View From the Bridge, quickly establishing himself with his talent and knowledge to the point where while playing The Ghost of Christmas Present in Humbug! he also acted as Assistant Director.

Mike is a teacher also, and has been a key player in devising the programme for schools for this project. He concentrates mainly on special needs pupils these days, widening his knowledge and experience still further.

On a complete tangent, Mike is a trained aromatherapist and reflexologist, skills that are sure to become vital as this project progresses.
