:[ Asara Bookstore Cafe ]:
Kashino Rei nods, "Lots of play! Long ago though, and it has seemed to quiet down. Rei used to get all kinds of random play; robots dropping from the sky and tearing up the streets, vampires running around flower shops, random assassins having their cars repaired... T_T I wonder if the garage is still there?"
Robin says, "I don't recall a garage. I wandereed about town for a bit, before settling in here. Because Caffiene=Good for Robin."
Kashino Rei seems to remember that ICly she did hang out at a bar, though young. ^_^;; So a cafe near the college is *enthusiastically thumbs up* a good choice?
Robin exclaims, "Yay. And she wasn't too young in Japan!"
Kashino Rei grins and accepts that, "True, okay."
Kashino Rei says, "Sorry for the delays, I'm looking over stuff and setting the boy up once more. Eek and all that, it's like crashing his motorcycle, never forget how. Nope. Whee, I suppose."
Robin says, "Apologies for my idleness, too. I'm doing this and that away from the keys. *tilts her head to the side*"
Robin grins. "I'm not quite sure I understood your last sentence or two."
Kashino Rei is a motorcycle racer, amateur, in his story. His best drama is "oe noe! will he crash with t3h stress and exhaustion? oe noeee!!1" ;)
Kashino Rei muses, "And/or is the ghost of his mother or twin brother going to kill him off. Hm. Or his hateful and resentful father. So much 'OhE NoE!' in Rei's young life, poor kid. *makes with the angsting* T_T" Adding Eiri to your permanent watchfor list.
Robin... c_c
Robin gives Kashino a cookie?
Kashino Rei nods, "Yeah."
Robin says, "Poor guy."
Kashino Rei spots the cookie and grins, "Cool! A cookie!"
Robin waves it around a bit. "Mmmhmm. Peanut butter, with chocolate chips."
Kashino Rei makes with the target tracking, blue eyes focussed and larrrrge and @_@
Kashino Rei says, "It .. It looks.. really.. That looks like a really good cookie.."
Robin nods her head, and extends her arm, offering it over. "Well, you can have it, then." she says, with a soft smile.
Kashino Rei extends first a slightly grease smudged hand, but spots it in time, retracting it and reaching for the cookie with the cleaner right. Or he hopes it's cleaner, the sleeve of his sweater covering wrist and some of his hand, just in case. >_<; He remembers, just in time as well, to stop looking at the cookie as though it were the last in Japan and glance at the girl OFFERING the sustaining substance, grinning recklessly and finally, FINALLY saying "Thanks." ^_^
Robin's offered cookie seems to be wavering back and forth. Glancing down to the greasy hand, Robin withdraws the cookie a bit, but... when he offers the somewhat cleaner hand, Robin allows the cookie to pass from her possession, the young Witch looking up towards Rei with her jade green eyes, and smiling. As she tucks her thickly gloved hands into the pockets of her trenchcoat, she bobs her head in a nod, and quietly says, "You're welcome. Are you... new around here, as well?" Robin asks, tilting her head to one side.
Kashino Rei slides neatly into a seat and takes an eager bite from the cookie. He's not seated for a moment before he starts swinging the seat from side to side, long legs hooked around the rungs. He's not shy, and a very direct gaze over the continued munching of cookie accompanies a nod. "Aa, I think so. I lost my way, I don't remember where I slept, but the streets aren't.." He shrugs, looking at the cookie remaining and starting on it from the other side, brushing crumbs from his shirt front. "I keep going around a corner that should be my school, but it's changed." He thinks he may have been in an accident, but doesn't feel bruised; acting on his thoughts he pats his chest, stomach, knee.. nope, nothing hurts. He shrugs, shakes his head, "I feel fine, though," and finishes the cookie.
Robin for her part, remains standing, hands tucked into the pockets of her coat. However, while the direct gaze of the boy is head for a few moments, the Witch soon looks down and to the side slightly, the faint smile slipping from her lips. "Yes, me and Amo..." Robin says, cutting herself off as she flickers her eyes back up to the face of the boy, before continuing. "I found that things were different than they were before.." she pauses to take a breath, her posture seeming to relax somewhat. "You aren't hurt... at least to the best of my knowledge. You're just in a place that's... different, yet similar."
Kashino Rei sucks the last of cookie crumbs and flavor from his thumb, lifting brows at the half spoken sentence and then looking down at himself as he's pronounced healthy-in-appearance. "Hn," he considers this, "Yeah, I feel fine. But I can't afford to lose my job. School.. that was just a waste of time, so if I can't find the school, oh well. I was almost finished there anyway." He flashes a grin and reaches up to finger his overlong hair from his face. "No big deal, school. But if I can't find my worksite.. That I'll have a hard time explaining. That's going to cost me." Leaning back in his seat, he eyes the road through the window. "I have to get to work tonight," he decides, and sounds decided on the matter. =3
Robin... Where Rei seemed to move around quite a bit whilst speaking, Robin, in contrast, remained very very still as she listens to him talk. And indeed, she stays mostly still when she herself was speaking. Straightening her neck from it's earlier tilt, Robin nods her head. "Well... school. Work." she begins, her expression and tone dampening a bit. "...have you... checked where you were to work...?" Robin asks.
Kashino Rei rubs the back of his neck and grins, cheeks pinking, "I tried to find it, too. I think my sense of direction is off, or something." He leans forward, shrugging, an animated gesture toward the window, one knee commencing a slow bounce, "I don't think I slept so long they finished the building without me, but.. there.. All the roads here are strange! They come right back to the downtown! I'm not even sure if it's the same building site I was working on.." This is.. definitely not the way to impress a girl. Rei pushes up his sleeves and leans back again, crossing his arms, the picture of calm and determined, something. Calm and determined total panic. "Hah! I'll find it. Or I'll be finding a new job." A slight shrug, and he's smiling again, "I can work on motorcycles, or cars. No problem finding another job." He's sure. Or, he's pretty sure he sounds sure. He hopes.
Robin was the very vision of calmness. While the faint blush was noted by the girl in black, other than a small flicker of her eyes, she did not react. In fact, the bouncing knee seemed to draw more of her attention, drawing her gaze down to stare at that. At least... until he stops the motion, her eyes lifting again to the face of the boy. And she smiles, albiet faintly. "You're a mechanic...?" she says. "Well, there should be quite a demand for those... I know I own a scooter, that tends to break down quite a bit." she says. No, it wasn't the scooter from where she had come from. She liked scooters, so she bought a new one.
Kashino Rei emits a pulse of hearts and fluffy kittens that obscures the cafe backdrop and yet is unseen by most mortals, and of which he is completely oblivious as the girl says she owns "A.. a scooter? You ride?" He blinks, leaning forward and taking a good look at the girl, almost a first look - Mister distraction finally focussing on the fact that a flesh and blood female, who rides on two wheels, stands before him. "I'm a racer. On my own. Motorcycles. When I can. I'm a mechanic on the side. I'm Rei. Kashino Rei. I'd be happy to work on your ride, Miss -?" He actually rises from his slouch to bow; though blonde, the boy is Japanese. Blonde, 6 foot tall, and Japanese, yes, don't ask.
Robin's eyes widen at the bow, and the girl slips her hands out of her pockets, and folds them before her belly. Returning the bow as she does so, the bow she bows was both a touch sloppy, and a bit lower than what was necessary. Evidently, she wasn't quite used to Japanese customs. Her Japanese seemed good enough, though. "Pardon me, Kashino Rei. I'm Robin Sena." she says. But after a moment of quiet, she calmly corrects herself. "Robin, I mean. Sena Robin. And yes, I ride my scooter." she says, with a firm nod as she begins to tuck her gloved hands back into her coat pockets. "But you're a racer...?" she asks, a small measure of curiousity in her voice.
Kashino Rei grins, not terribly obnoxiously, merely unable to contain it at the mention of his one true love. Nodding causes his hair to fall back into his face, and he reaches up to push it back, tucking pale strands behind his ear and then fitting his hand neatly to hip. He manages a somewhat 'cool' pose, leaning against the nearest counter or table. "I do. I've raced Sebuka circuit. B-team, factory try-outs, but it's a start." A puzzled expression dawns on his face, and it's slightly mischevious; long fingers lift to point at Robin's wrapped ponytails. "Sena-kun, how do you get a helmet on over such a girly hair-do?" Light blue eyes gleam and Rei grins at his 'cleverness'.
Robin looks calm. Utterly calm at his recitation of the various circuits. She wasn't quite looking impressed, but she wasn't trying to look unimpressed, either. But all that calmness vanishes when not only her last name was used, but a not-too-familar suffix was added unto that. Her eyes widen subtlely, and her right hand lifts out of her coat pocket, before self-conciously rising to her head to touch one of her ponytails. "They sorta... fold." she replies, her left hand lifting out of her pocket as well, as she folds her hands in front of her belly once again. "...why do you ask?"
Kashino Rei grins easily and shrugs, straightening up and fitting his own hand into his back pocket. "They just look like they wouldn't fit, that's all." Reaching up to his own head, Rei wiggles two fingers together in imitation of her pony-wraps. "I figured you'd tell me you'd cut holes in your helmet." The easy grin lifts his lips again, and he winks. "Naa~ I'd like to help you, if your scooter wants work," he glances outside at the road, feet shifting though his hands remain behind him, "And I'd like you to be able to find me, but I'm not sure.." Where I am? "Where I'll be staying."
Robin says, "Yes.." as her eyes drop to the floor. But to what, who can know? "My scooter is running fine at the moment, but..." Robin pauses to lift her eyes up towards Rei, narrowing her eyes a bit. "What aren't you sure of, Rei... san?" she says, the suffix hesitant in passing her lips.
Kashino Rei smiles, and shrugs with his shoulders, hands trapped in his back pockets for now and not going to leave the relative safety of the confines. "I'm not sure.. Okay. Am I dreaming? Or did I die." The smile never wavers, he just watches her for a second and then blinks to look out the window. "Aa, you know, I'll go back to that funky school. If your scooter needs work, just.. put a message on one of the student boards, okay?" That should work, he figures, until he's found a job, and an address of his own, and all that other stuff that seems to have removed from the map. "I should go," he decides, apparently abruptly, and straightens up to remove his hands from his pockets, bowing again.
Robin stares at Rei's bowed head for a moment, before it occurs to her that she ought to bow, as well. Slipping her hands from her front, to her sides, Robin bows once more, bowing a bit too shallowly, this time. "A message at one of the student boards." she repeats, the faint smile again making it's appearance on her softening expression. "Alright, Rei." she says, tucking her hands -again- into the pockets of her trenchcoat. "It was pleasant to have a coversation with you. Be well."
Kashino Rei ticks his chin up with another wink, after the bow he's just another juvenile delinquent, woo-hoo! Free as the wind! And he heads for the door, heels on fire.
:[WHO]:
The pale boy before you is tall and lean; long legs, long arms, and a long smooth neck. His fragile, delicate features are framed by a tousled mop of silky white blonde hair, bright and soft, worn loosely tumbled down his neck. Pale blue eyes regard you with openly wry humor, or or peer narrowed through thick black painted lashes, or watch nothing at all with a thousand-yard stare; wide, blue, open, unseeing. His grin is frequent and intense; though he quickly changes mood, looking away, turning in, shutting down. If he is not in motion, decisive, predatory gestures, then he is languidly still and withdrawn. In nearly every way he is of these two distinct paths, there is very little that is moderate about him.Rei prefers old, softly worn Levi's, longer than his long legs, the cuffs rolled up over black, square-toed engineer boots. He's wearing a black silk t-shirt with a widely cut neck, showing off prominent collarbones and a heavy silver crucifix hanging below the hollow of his throat. Over this a white button-up shirt with large and pointed cuffs and collar; he's wearing several wide silver and onyx rings on the fingers that peek out through the long cuffs of his shirt.
Robin's Desc at this RP
Chin-length locks of chestnut brown bangs fall loosely, and somewhat randomly over the gentle features of this young girl. On the sides, and back of her head, her hair reaches down to her mid-back... or it would, did she not have it tied up at the moment. Perhaps unusually, she has her hair arranged into two stiff handlebar-like ponytails, that jut out from both sides of the back of her head. Those ponytails are also wrapped in dark red ribbons. Her green eyes look out upon the world, with a gentle, calm look generally seen in them. The attire she wears is perhaps quite simple. Over her petite torso she wears a high-collared, long sleeve black dress, the material of the dress just long enough to hover a mere few centimeters above the ground. Over that, she wears a darker black, apron-like vest, the skirt of which reaches down to her mid-thigh. But that's not all! The overdressed girl wears a open, black leather trenchcoat over that. And finally, around her neck dangles a cord, weighed down by a blood red-coloured, teardrop-shaped stone, the palm-sized jewel held fast with bindings of a dark silver metal.
