WEDDING-JULY 14, 2000
Jamie and I were married on a sunny, hot, humid Friday evening in July 2000 at Transfiguration Lutheran Church in Hamilton Ontario, by Pastor Doug Schweyer.  We had our closest friends and family in attendance, totalling 25.

The picture to the left is of my mom and dad and I taken before the ceremony began in front of the gardens by the front door of the church.

Jamie's Uncle Mike took our pictures for us.
We had quite an informal ceremony, held in the fireside room of the church.  The picture at the right is of the Pastor, Jamie and I going over the order of service from the bulletin right before the ceremony began.

You should be feeling sorry for the pastor in all those robes, as it was about 85 degrees Fahrenheit in the church when this photo was taken.
To the left is a photo of the wedding party, taken immediately after the ceremony. From the far left,  Nancy - my oldest sister who stood up for me, Pastor Doug, Emily - my 11 year old daughter, me, Jamie, Lisa - my 14 year old daughter, and Gordie - Jamie's older brother, who stood up for him.

My mom's sister, Aunt Nan is responsible for the beautiful flowers, her wedding gift to us.
Our Wedding Announcement, which appeared in the Hamilton Spectator, read as follows:  McCluskey, Jamie and Janet (Franklin) would like to announce that on Friday, July 14, 2000, they celebrated the first day of the rest of their lives, as they were joined in marriage at Transfiguration Lutheran Church in the presence of their family.
