| I consider myself to be an "OLD FOLKIE". Having grown up with 3 older siblings, I learned to like their music as well as my own, and as I have grown older, I find that the older music is what I have hung on to. With the exception of a few 70's light rock bands, most of my favourites are folk, jazz, or what is now considered Easy Listening. I am not the least bit embarassed to admit this as I think these are some of the best musicians ever to have been heard. There are a few current bands that I enjoy. Went to a Matchbox 20 Concert a while ago with my 14 year old daughter.... not bad, but not as good as the Gordon Lightfoot concert I saw a few years back. Guess I'm getting too old for Rock Concerts |
| As well as the vocal music listed, I thoroughly enjoy listening to instrumental music, be it smooth jazz like Kenny G, or big band such as Glen Miller. I also enjoy Classical music and am proud of it. |
