Oracle


Oracles are gifted with the ability to see into the future. Once gifted this power can be used to aid oneself, or aid others. Legends speak of the oracles prophasys and entire novels have been writen on just their words.

To become an Oracle one must recieve the gift of future sight. As the gift seems not to be given except on extreme circumstances it seems that there are very few living Oracles in existance, and fewer yet that can truely read far into the future. To make matters short, any class can become an Oracle if it is seen justified to the powers that be to make them so.

Oracles have turned up in many places and in almost all societys in the past. In fact even in goblin stories there are tales of a shaman that could see into the future to win all battles. Not tied to any one race, place, or profession an Oracle is a specticle to many and as much must be carefull unto who they share their knowledge.

Requirements
To become an Oracle one must fulfill the following criteria.
Skills: Knowlege (Any 3) 6 Ranks
Spells: Ability to cast 5th Level Divine Spells
Special: Must recieve the gift of Sight

Class Skills
The Oracle class skills (and ability mod for them) are Alchemy (Int), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Heal (Wis), Knowledge (Int), Profession (Wis), Scry (Int), and Spellcraft (Int)

Skill Points Each Level 4 + Int Modifier.

Class Features
All of the following are calss features of the Oracle Prestige class.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Oracles have found that over the ages large weapons and heavy armor pose little interfearence with their divine magics. Therefore all Oracles have learned to be Proficient in all simple and martial weapons as well as all armors and shields.

Divine Foresight - An Oracle can forsee incoming danger before it even happens, therefore giving them a split second chance to dodge the blow. This ability increases their armor class by 2. This ability increases to +4 at twentyth level.

Future Sight - An oracle can forsee an oncoming battle before it occurs. This provides the oracle with an increase of two on all initiative rolls.

Doom Saying - By speaking of their enemies impending death an oracle can effectively discourage their oponents giving their foes a -2 penalty to all attacks and damage. This ability increases to -4 at seventh level.

Divine Strike - By seeing into the imediate future an oracle can sense a particularly vunarable area in an oponent giving them a +2 bonus to attacks and damage. This ability rises to +4 at eighth level.

Divine Answer - Once per eyar an oracle may use his or her powers to look deeply into the future and answer any one question no matter how complicated the answer. Using this power exhausts the Oracle causing fatuge.
