Here
you might find useful or useless links to sites that I myself have found
particular interest and would like to share with the rest of you, yes, and
very mooshy indeed. I've split them into categories to make life easier
for you and I. You may find the lis is quite long, but this is only a
fraction of what Im willing to put up on this page. Trust me, Im a web
rat.
Important This is
my best chums homepage, if you want to read wonderful pieces of writing by Zo
Claire Faulder then this is the site to go to. Yes, Zo is my sole source
of being, as I am hers.
J Art Im not
on Yerf, I dont think Ill ever be, but its a must see. Its a gallery
of anthropomorphic (furry) art. There are some excellent artists displayed
there, their works are breathtaking, a must see. I
recommend this site for those who want to see furry art and lots of it,
but I warn you some of the content in this site may be offensive to you and are not
for children, there are no age filters on this gallery. Okay,
you have no idea what Im talking about when I say furry art? Well, this
is a link to a page with a small amount of information on it, it gives you
the basic ideas J This
site is great for the artist, there are pages with tips on using a medium
and you can even meet artists much like yourselves and comment on their
artwork. A site
run by Stephanie Listomolo, an excellent artist in the digital medium
J
go check out her work, you wont regret it!
Fantasy and Cyberpets One of
the best and most prestigious cyber pet sites on the world wide web, run
by Silvanon, this is a great site to go to if you want a bit more
adventure in your net life, a must see for people who are new to cyber
adoption. You can meet dragons, face a white griffon or ride upon the back
of a unicorn, imagination here is limitless. This
site is run by Arborwin, its an excellent adoption site with an array of
creatures you can adopt, though there are no click and takes, only the
occasional beanie with the mailing list
J The
official Robert Rankin fan site. Author of many hilarious books such as Apocalypso,
Nostradamus ate my Hamsters, the Brentford Triology, Sex and Drugs and
Sausage Rolls and many more. A truly amazing writer and a must see for
those who are looking for an original book to read. A good
site for those who are fans of J.R.R. Tolkien and his trilogy Lord of the
Rings. It's a wonderful site with a beautiful layout and goodies
for those who have fallen for Tolkiens books. There is also stuff on the
movie if you want to check that out (I loved the movie ^.^) This is
a good place to go, its sort of like adopting a cyber pet, but you
actually buy- it, with virtual- credits known as gp (gold pieces). If
you like business and are into cyberpets, this is the place to go, but
unfortunately they are not taking new members. Also
run by Silvanon, this is the place to go for your cyberpet roleplaying
needs J
you can also find some people giving out pets to adopt, adopt out pets
yourself (cyberpets mind you) and a whole lot more! A site
by Jaysen, a very good manga and anime artist, he also adopts critters
out, so you can look out for those. The site layout is very good and its
easy to find your way around without much of a problem. You can find very good
artwork here. What
can I say? Im hooked! This site is run by Tiffany Ross, it has an array
of very interesting comics, I like all of them ^.^ A comic
made by Stephanie Listomolo, this comic is really funny, all about heaven,
hell and highschool. Have a peek and enjoy
J
Pets, Animals or Wildlife Organisations Own a
pedigree cat? Or just want to find more about pedigree cats? This site is
a very good one then, there is information on breeds, breed standards and
pictures of show winners, and there youll find some unique and beautiful
breeds of cats. Been
looking for info on a specific breed or trying to find someone who breeds
a specific breed youve been looking for but all you can find is site with
breeders in the USA but you live in Europe??? (That was a mouthful) This
is an excellent site to go to then! A
recent breed of cat, which is actually a hybrid of a domestic cat and an
Asian Leopard cat. Ive never seen cats like these ones, theyre truly
amazing, I fell in love with the breed almost instantly, I also had to
faint when I found out how much they cost ^^;; Im going to have to smash
my piggy bank. No, not
the Wrestling Federation, though I agree, most of them are animals. Its
the very well known World Wildlife fund. Worth having a look at if youre
the Environmentalist type, its one of the biggest organisation supporting
endangered animals. Much
like the WWF, this organisation also supports endangered creatures and
best yet, you can adopt one to help (no, not take one home in a shopping
bag). You can adopt an elephant, rhino, tiger and many more. If you like
animals and fear their extinction then this is a good site to visit to
obtain more information.
Everyone has at least heard of Greenpeace but if you havent visit the
site. Unlike WWF and Care for the Wild, this organisation likes to get
where the action is, especially when issues such as whaling are involved. Everything you need to
know about tigers, EVERYTHING! And some additional information on other
big cats too! This is an excellent site to go to and the layout is
fantastic, go have some fun!
Search Engines So far
one of the best Ive used so far, the site URL basically says it all All
the Web. This search engine is useful for finding stuff on the internet. For me,
google is second best, its useful if you want to find random information,
but not exact information, though the results are organised by how close
the site matches your inquiry. Not
many people know about 37.com, its pretty good, I havent used it much
recently but its good because it has a list of 37 search engines you can
use. There
was a time when altavista was good to find information for homework and
other stuff but I hardly ever use it now, only when I cant find what Im
trying to look for on other search engines. I
cant, for the life of me, figure out why people use yahoo so much, I
never get what I want there, the results are usually complicated and links
lead from one result to another >.< when I use a search engine I want one
that goes straight to the point! Its useful sometimes though. I
hardly ever use this site, though recently I used it once, the results
arent usually that useful. You just type in a question, or a word, and
Jeeves (the butler) will try to find a site that could possibly answer it.
They do give you tips as to how to get more accurate results.
Miscellaneous Ever
wanted to see the Earth from space, maybe go to the moon? Then this is the
place to be. You get a clear picture of the earth via satellite, you can
see the earth from the sun, the moon, wherever you like! Some of the
images can be breath taking, especially from the night side. Dont
like your job? Despise it even? Think youve got the worst job ever? Well,
this might not be so, to make you feel better someone came up with a site
that shows the worst jobs in the world, go ahead, its good therapy! This
was introduced to me by my friends; its a fun site, though its not
really for children, more for teenagers. There are tests you can take to
find out more about yourself, even things you never knew! And you though
you knew yourself from head to toe *tisk tisk tisk* Well, recently I've really started to get into the world of fashion and desgin ad if you're a fan of what's on the catwalk then this is a site you should definitely visit - it's a must. I kinda stumbled into this site by accident but if you're a fan of a certain model and would like to find out more about her then go here, I guess it would be pretty useful in that sense.
Portuguese site - Se queres adoptar um co ou um gato (em Portugal claro!), ou se queres aprender mais sobre gatos e at conhecer pessoas que adoram animais ento este site para ti.
