Trudging along with Ionos sitting on your shoulder you come cross the first sign of water for a long time. It is a vast lake with many islands in the middle. On the bed, many flowers bloom and boast of colours - red, yellow, mroon, orange, pink, purple, blue and many more. You kneel down in a patch of lilies and enjoy the scenery, staring out at the undisturbed, glasslike surface of the lake. Ionos disappears momentarily. You expect he's gone to find another Devi. There is a slight rustling in the bushes and something emerges. lone, one Devi makes its way to the water, completely unware of your presence. You take the opportunity to watch a Devi in its natural behavious. The blue/green Devi sits by the water's edge and dips its head for a drink. You move in for a closer look but a twigs snaps under your weight. Alarmed, the Devi turns around and flies off.
-That was Feryst,- Ionos reappears from the brush - I was looking for him to take us to the eggs. He is the teacher of hatchlings. Seeing as you've scared him off I'm afraid we'll have to look for the hatching site ourselves.-
You sigh deeply and get back up only to leave the beautiful scenery.
