Art
Ah, art, is there any word more beautiful? The word in itself doesn't really inspire me, but a word so small can mean so much to me. Art can come in many forms, from throwing ink at a wall when you're 3 years old to being 15 and creating your first full masterpiece - it's an intimate part of me and will always be. Art is an escape from the real world, but at the same time, when I draw I give myself time to sit back and think about my life. I hope you enjoy looking at a few of the pieces I've done as much as I enjoyed doing them. Oh, and please don't take anything, I don't take lightly to people who steal others' art, whether it's my own or someone elses. This piece looks much better in real life than it does scanned, the scanner killed it, but not too much I guess. Anyway, I did this while looking at my bird Topaz (AKA tennis ball - those of who have seen him know what I'm talking about. I love that ball of fuzz ^.^), then I though of what he'd look like if I crossed him with a phoenix - I told you I wanted to be a genetic engineer!!! Er... just kidding. Um... this is a fliot (Flying goat/dog t be exact). Theyre a type of creature I made up and adopted out in the world of cyberpets. I'm currently out of the cyber pet stuff but I still like the picture ^.^ I had to look at a photo of an ocelot to get the spots right, trust me - it wasn't easy. 'Nother Fliot, I quite like this one, it's bl00, my favourite colour =) Caution: very colourful =) slightly painful on the eyes. This is a carousel pony, and one te most recent one to be exact. The thing on its back in a phoenix saddle, I know, kinda weird but I always do weird stuff =P the proportions on this one are more correct than the previous ones (below) just exercising my art skills I guess Caution: Very bright and large image, may take a while to load. Well, this one started out as a stencil for an art piece I'm working one (carving in plaster - very tedious) but I scanned in the outline and coloured it in, put in a backgroud and voila! Something weird =P I really had fun with this - I was messing around with filters and colours on photoshop and this is what I got. Kinda reminds me of peacock feathers, I was just experimenting and I liked the outcome. hey, comes to show that when making a couple of mistakes you can make something neat and purdy A good friend of mine asked me to draw a unicorn for her, I kinda came up with this but she asked for it coloured, this is only me going nuts and leaving it back and white - trust me I'm really bad at sticking to doing what other people ask me for, that's why the commisions page came down :( This is another carousel pony - with wings! I think this was the third one I did, don't worry, the first one is up too! These take me about three hours to do each - just colouring!!! Drawing takes longer -.-;; "Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it." - Confucius And yet another fliot. I love these guys =) this one has a very innocent docile look on its face, you know, the "Um... wasn't me." look o.o;; And -again- another fiot, last one I promise. This one's kind of the opposite of the previous one, and it flies too. He looks like he's about to crash into a tree ^^;; This was the very first carousel pony I did, even though there aren't many out there o.o;; this one's out of proportion but I love it anyway, it was really an excuse to experiment with that type of colouring and it came out pretty well. Um... yeah, well these are woodles - or at least two of them. The first (yellow) one is male and the second (red) one is female. Males have a crest and females have no crest but tiny wings. I started drawing tonnes of these at one point but then I stopped and went back to drawing other stuff ^.^ I didn't name them woodles a good friend of mine did =) This is a personae picture of me... Darkwing... yeah I know the name doesn't exactly match the appearance. She -used- to be dark blue -but- I changed her appearance I guess that's the way I m - ever changing and the complete opposite of what I say I am o.o;; I need to see a shrink in other words. This was a another filter/layers experiment on photoshop, it's not great but it's my first time at seriously attempting a nebula/outer spacy look, if I worked a bit more on it I could have made it into a background, but I'm lazy, sue me. This was a small doodle I did on Illustrator, not a very good one but I like the quote ^^;; I like frogs, they're interesting and they feel funny too. Not really much to say about it but I'll leave it at that. Another experiment, yes, we're all getting tired of them aren't we? Well I was bored so I whiped out Photoshop nd got filtering and layering nd colouring and I got this spiffy wall of fire. Yuss, fun ^.^ I think I may turn this one into a background for a set or something :) not sure yet. RATED: PG-13 Well it's not exactly an extremely showy picture, it's just the torso of a man with a tufted tail, which is very proportionally wrong but it was an experiment at drawing people's body parts and using a brush pen. Beware the brush pen *hisses*
