Weird Beatnick Poem Thing

What's the good of love?
Such a fickle emotion.
Solely responsible for more pain and suffering in our world
Than most other factors combined.
Hatred, so similar to love in its extremity
Would have to be second on the list
Love and hate
Hate and love
Pain and pleasure
Sane or mad
Things which are opposite
Are often so alike
We can barely call them different
Although they are
Such is the nature of abstract concepts
Good, evil
Love, hate
Right, wrong
Two words that represent
The opposite ends of our emotional spectrum
Yet so hard to distinguish from one another
We can but call them one
