I'm in the dark
I feel alone
I sit here waiting
By the phone

My mind is thinking
Thoughts of you,
But I don't know
If they'll come true

I have to see you,
Hear your voice,
Your gentle touch,
Your dark brown eyes

When you're with me
I do not care
About the world,
We're here, it's there

You make me happy,
Make me smile,
Of you I'm dreaming
All the while

"Stay here for ever"
I silently cry,
When we're apart
Part of me dies

I hate to sit here
All alone
Silently waiting
By the phone
