Benefit Fund

Passes $41,OOO

  The Fossum-Canfield benefit fund Tuesday, totaled $41,348.08, Chairman Robert Wishart said.
Fund officials yesterday deposited with Midland National bank $2,560.37 in additional contributions.
The fund will be given to families of Minneapolis Patrolmen Robert Fossum and Ward Canfield. Fossum was killed and Canfield wounded critically during a gunfight Aug. 17 with three men who are still at large.
