Slain Hostage Ran Paint Firm
Eugene Lindgren, 30, who was killed by gunmen in the police chase Saturday night, was a painter and operator of the Lindgren Paint Co, in Anoka.
He grew up in Anoka and graduated from Anoka high school. During World War II, he served in the army.
In addition to his wife and three children, survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lindgren, Anoka three brothers, Floyd, Minneapolis, Lowell, Champlin, and Glenn, Anoka, and a sister, Mrs Betty Peterson, Anoka.
