The weather seems to have changed for the better; about time too! But it has coincided with me having to work all week and that's not good. Lynda has been on holiday so I had to work all day Tuesday and all day Thursday as well as half days the rest of the week. And Vicky tells me she's pregnant... again! So I'll have to plan a strategy to cope with events. But, who knows, we may not even be there. By this time next year we could in theory be closed down, though, I think it highly unlikely, I'm still preparing.
My knee has been giving me problems. I've been to the doctors and have a prescription for I/P 400s and a sleeping aid. My morning walks have been purgatory but the Doc says to persevere as this will help the problem to go. This morning I managed to walk up to LJ. The pain was still there and I had a large strapping on but I managed ok.
It's day two of my no alcohol. I always feel so much better and don't know why I can't keep it up but it is a drug and as such gets a hold. I'll see how long it lasts this time. I'll go into work this afternoon. It should be busy what with the double allowances so time should pass quickly.
Diving this weekend. Martin has rung and we'll go West together. I'm tempted to set off early with the traffic in mind but at that time of morning there's rarely a problem. Coming home could be a different story!! Maybe we'll get to the Smalls; hopefully those there on Saturday will do some planning and have the boats fuelled ready. We'll need an early start but it'll be worth it. At least my bottles are filled.
We had a meeting with Richard and Lyn to talk through our prep for Egypt. We're all excited and can't wait.
