Ihad a very restless night with a seriously sore knee.  Sleeping tablets didn't help and I tossed and turned for most of the night.  At -7-00 I decided I would try a walk with Suki.  I put on a double crepe bandage and tried to walk.  It was agony but we managed to get to the horse field and walked all around.  getting back home was painful.  I stripped off the bandage; my knee had swelled; I took some ibuprofen and experienced some relief.  I spent the morning re- sending my articles.  What a stupid error.  fancy writing about the turn of the century.  Anyway, I hope my recipients have corrected my stupidity.  This afternoon was reasonably busy.  I managed to read the communication from the Post Office.  So, my PO is under threat and after all the hard work and effort I've put in.  Well, it's every man for himself now so I intend putting in maximum effort to boost business and retain my PO.

After work we went to the barn  The beer was OK but Sandra's cider looked flat.  Anyway we had a couple of drinks and then came home for dinner.  An early night tonight to make up for all the lost sleep last night.
