Entry for August 4, 2007
It's not been too bad a day; we started with a walk around the horse field before continuing up to LJ where we met up with Rod and Graham. It was drizzling; not enough to wet you through but enough to make you aware. Between the three of us we managed to put the world to rights before reaching home. Sandra was up and about when I got home. It's amazing what she can do when she's going on a trip but I can't really fault her. Toady she's off on a two day coach trip taking in Kew gardens. This means that Suki and I will be on our own for the weekend. I went to the shop and had a reasonably busy morning with vehicle licensing and currency. After closing I stripped the windows and gave the area a bloody good clean and boy did it need it. It was almost 3-00 by the time I'd finished but the effort was worth it. I decided to go to Morgans and have a couple of Stellas and then went home. Chicken and a jacket for late lunch, and it tasted lovely. Then I had a little relax before taking Suki out for her evening walk. I listened to the rugby on the radio. England gave Wales a real thrashing; 62-5; I can't wait to See rod and Graham. Dinner was staek, mushroom and an egg; all in the frying pan and cooked together; lovely11 But the kitchen smelled awful. Tonight I enjoyed a few rum and cokes and I'm going to watch Jaws 2. before having an early night. Tomorrow I'm going diving. Mark or Paul will pick me up around -6-45.
