Entry for July 27, 2007
At last, a dry start to the day. We were up and about before -6-00 and down the road towards Miskin. There was little traffic and surprisingly little animal movement; we didn't see any rabbits. The path leading to the cricket club was wet but not sodden. We decided to use the roadway before the Manor, and the try the route across the fields. It was dry, just, but where are all the rabbits? maybe it's too wet. Breakfast was kipper fillets; very tasty!! I spent the morning messing about on the computer and went to work at 2-00. The afternoon was reasonable; I copied my films onto disc, sold a few travel cheques, did a little bit of currency, and then went home. This evening we had a walk across Mywndy. There's lots of ragwort and some rabbits. We went for a pint in the barn but it's not the same so after one pint we left for home, and speckled hen and a chance to swing outside then Corry!! A perfect evening. Now I'm ready for bed but I'm glad I got to write the web before I go to sleep.
