Entry for July 16, 2007
Woke very early; we were out and about at 05-30. What a lovely morning. The sun was shining, there was a veil of mist and not a breath of wind. It had rained hard overnight so we headed for Miskin and walked around the cricket field. There was some glorious sights with the mist and the sun through the trees. It wasn't the sort of morning to rush, so we gently ambled along, taking a turn around the cricket field. There were lots of rabbits, and a large hawk; not a buzzard, but I couldn't get close enough to see exactly what it was. Must go back again tomorrow with the camera. The Post Office was unusually busy and I had difficulty getting time to do my Diary article. Lots of passport work lots of banking and lots of bill payments. It was 12-30 before I could get away for lunch. Thankfully it died off a bit in the afternoon so I finished my article and transmitted. I started another article for the Diving web page so will need to polish that up tomorrow and submit. Dive meeting tonight. Lets see if the trainees turn up. They all did well yesterday so it'll be nice to hear Peter give them some encouragement by way of an announcement.
