Mr.
Hi, I'm Phil, a Postmaster in South Wales. When I'm not working I enjoy walking, fishing and scuba diving.
Entry for July 14, 2007
It's been a much better day; sunshine, brisk breeze, but dry.  Plenty of people out and about.  The morning in the Post Office was quiet.  I bought a paper and read most of it; I did a bit of currency and a couple of passports, but on the whole, it was very quiet and I managed to lock up on time.  After lunch, chicken and caulie, well, it is Saturday, we went to the docks where there was a food festival on.  Couldn't get anywhere near, so we went to Roath Park and that was busy as well.  We managed to get a parking space but it was outside of the main area.  Suki didn't mind the walk and we were soon in amongst the ducks and swans.  The park was busy; there was a band, loads of stalls and a puppet show.  It was a real old fashioned Saturday and we really enjoyed our visit.  On the way home we called into the Barn pub and enjoyed a couple of drinks and then at home we sat on the swing for an hour or so.. Tea was paella cooked by yours truly.  Afterwards we watched a bit of telly and then had an early night.
