Entry for July 6, 2007
I can't understand why it's taking so long to publish the results of the writing media module; I really the results would have been out before now. I did e-mail Rod; he hasn't had he's reults yet so I suppose I'll just have to wait. Sandra's off to Hampton Court today; that leaves me and the pooch in charge at least until tomorrow evening. I've put a chicken in the oven; there's a packet of sirloin staek, a big bag of oven chips, and a few beers, so we'll probably exist. Nothing much happening on the Post Office front except, out of the blue, we've been designated a moneygram office; fancy that. It has meant a shed full of reading probably for very little return though it's something else to add to my list of services when we decide to put the business on the market. On the lesuire front, there's not much happening. Heavy rain has been followed by strong to gale force winds which has wiped the diving out for the third weekend on the trot. Some club members are supposede to be going on a hard boat around Skomer Island on a sea search mission; but I can't really see that happening. The wind, if it doesn't stop the boat from going out, will certainly have affected the visibility. So, it's probably fishing down the lake again. It's a safe bet because you can always tuck out of the wind and put a brolly up against the rain.
