Entry for May 20, 2007
After a couple of days of strong winds and heavy showers, Sunday dawned calm and dry. I walked Suki up the graveyard road, came back home, had some toast and tea, and a shave, and was still in West Wales before 08-30. WE launched the dive boat from Broadhaven. The breakers were rolling in, and launching proved difficult, but team effort completed the task. Today was training day; there were seven of us, split into two groups, dive laeder training and dive supervisor training. The Training officer put us onto a deep water mark, and we completed our task albeit in very dark water. The rest of the day was spent pleasure diving except that the lack of visibility made it anything but. Never mind, those that wanted to had three dives, and we were back in Broadhaven by 5-30, and back at West Wales Divers by 7-00. The journey home was uneventful. We called into the Barn Pub and had a pint, then I went home to wash off all my gear. Can't say I like deep diving or wrecks, but it had to be done!!
