What to say today; Started with a walk around 06-45. Met up with Gordon and 'Sid'. Put the world to rights. Walked around the top field; the ground is still solid. Suki just wanted to roll! We returned via the cemetery and the quiet road. Bumped into Graham and Jaz. Put the world to rights again, but this time included last night's football results. After breakfast(2 boiled eggs), we went to Tesco. Sandra bought a mobile phone, and 12 hours later, we're still trying to turn it on; sad in'it! We had lunch at Morgan's. Lasagne for two cast £8.00; not bad; if only they would sell real ale! After lunch we went home; I intended having a little nap, but the workmen digging up Richard's drive (next door) kept me awake. Later at the shop, Lynda was having trouble with Traveller's cheques, so we helped out. Then I went for a pint with Mike. The 'Turb' had no real ale - again!! I think I'll stick to drinking in the High Corner. This evening, we've just had a nice gammon meal, paid our credit card bill (on line), and nowe I'm going to have a restful evening. Tomorrow I must go to buy some new boots.
